What is fun to play these days?

As mentioned in an earlier post I have recently gotten back into the hobby. I'm soon splitting a starter set with a friend getting into the hobby, and I was wondering if you all have suggestions for fun options to go for next? I don't care about meta as long as it's not a straight-up useless unit, I care more about novelty and fun tactical options.

Currently, counting the starter set I'm getting, I have:

1x Hive tyrant

1x Winged tyranid prime

3x Von Ryan's leapers

1x Lictor

3x Tyranid Warriors

30x Termagaunts

10x Hormagaunts

10x Genestealers

4x Ripper swarms

1x Psychophage

2x Carnifexes
Any suggestions are super appreciated, whether that be something "basic" like gargoyles or something huge like a Norn emissary. To me its about what you all feel is enjoyable and can see is missing in my collection.
