Experience with MAT135 and MAT136?

I'm hoping to take MAT135 and MAT136 in the coming fall and winter. I tend to struggle with calculus so I was wondering what the general experience was like, and what the course average was for previous classes. Any tips on how to succeed as they are most likely in-person courses? Are there any professors you'd recommend taking the course with? Also, could you provide a breakdown of how the grades are distributed percent-wise?
