Will VR&E affect my 100% P&T?

I have an upcoming appointment with the VR&E in a few weeks. I called a few months ago to see where it's at and at the time the guy on the phone who was like a counselor or such said that it could affect my current benefits and be cautious. I plan on using it to go to school which I've been in since this fall semester. I was just curious if it's true that there's a possibility in the lowering of my rating. I'm having a hard time finding a job where I don't have to worry about injuring myself in public. I can barely bend down to pick up a pencil sometimes lmao. Is what that guy said is true at all? Also any tips on when I have this video call?
