[SOTC] - Collecting is my newest joy!

I got into watch collecting seriously about 6 months ago. This is the current state of my collection. Missing one AP 15510ST Blue Dial that’s currently being serviced.

It started when the Movado was a gift from my mom way back in college. The Lasalle was an old watch I found in a trunk of my fathers stuff from the 80/90s, and the Submariner was the first “nice watch” I bought myself in 2018 secondhand. Can’t believe that watch is also a 1994.

I did nothing with watches and would just wear the Rolex casually or for work until earlier this year I caught the bug. The first new piece I acquired was the missing 15510ST Blue Royal Oak AP secondhand. Which I was able to show off at my local AP Boutique to get them to sell me a Code 11.59. A few months later I happened to walk into a Grand Seiko and nothing was interesting until they pulled this Green Birch out from the back. Dial is amazing. Soon after I bought the Green Ceramic Hublot Big Bang Unico, which I know watch people will hate, but I liked. My most recent acquisition was a special one. I was able to secure a Limited 100 Off Catalogue AP 15510BC with an Ice Blue baguette hour marker dial.

Also along the way I bought every Tissot that caught my eye and then put them on really cool rubber straps. Funny enough I probably wear these the most! For whatever reason I love showing these Tissot’s off on a more daily/regular bases knowing I have some heavy hitters sitting at home!

PS. You know I had to cop some G Shocks too!
