Chinese Worth Grinding?

I want to figure out one line to go down to at least tier 8 for the Chinese tech tree. I want to avoid the heavies but what other tank lines are decent these days?

I'm still relatively new (2.7k matches played) but so far my favorite tanks I've ever played are AMX ELC bis, AMX 13 75, Nergal, and currently looking forward to getting the T28 (because bouncy armor similar to Nergal).

I'm sure it's not a lot to go off of. I also like tanks with really good stealth for ambush moments and tanks that have really bouncy armor (and I mean REALLY bouncy armor lol). I've also been finding that I like having a lot of mobility although I'm still learning the best ways to use it and places to rotate to and such so I have a lot of moments when I get caught out early and die quickly afterwards or at least lose a bunch of health.

I would really appreciate any of y'all who can give some insights on the Chinese tech tree lines if ya don't mind helping me figure out what one sounds good to go down. Most videos are kinda old for the Chinese lines so a more updated perspective would be nice
