How would I make a low income, ghetto neighborhood?

Okay some back story on myself, I’m a dude, and I really like animal crossing, and for like a couple months I’ve been working on my island, and I had this idea to have a low income ghetto neighborhood, but i just don’t know how to decorate to really show it’s a ghetto part of my island, like I have 4 villagers there and their houses are tight together, I have a small play ground, and the campsites there to be a reference to homelessness.

One thing I do wanna do is have a small plaza so I’m currently saving up miles to get the fountain. Any suggestions on items?
