Is Parkour still under development in AC Shadows, and can an official confirm that?

Since the version of AC Shadows presented to the streamers and youtubers was the November version, I remember reading somewhere that Parkour is one of the main things that is still being under development, is that correct or am I imagining it? Tbh the Parkour does need some more mechanics, so that would make everything 10x better for me, and worthy of preorder. I would love to hear it from an official source.
