Girls who actually NEED to use deodorant, I need suggestions for one that won’t leave white residue on my clothes.

I use men’s deodorant, Gillette clinical strength and have for years. It works great except for the unattractive white residue it leaves. My pits are also sort of dark and the hair follicles look awful no matter how often I shave. but I don’t know if that’s a deodorant problem, bad genes, or something else. Anyway, I’d like to feel a little less self conscious in sleeveless shirts.

I live in a very hot and humid climate, I work out, and I’m an anxiety sweater and a very anxious human. Soooo I need deodorant. My mom basically never has to wear any but I didn’t get that lucky. I will actually smell if I don’t.

Does anyone have suggestions for deodorants that actually work but won’t leave residue? Bonus if you feel like your pit appearance has improved due to its use. Hoping for suggestions from fellow smelly girls lol. Or men! None of you lucky people who can get away with any dollar store woman’s deodorant. No woman’s deodorant I tried kept me smell free for the entire day but to be fair that was years ago. So maybe products have improved.
