The Chiefs 4-peat piece

Cousin Sal said on the pod that if the Chiefs 4-peat then we start having the Mahomes-Brady conversation. Given that no one has even gotten three in a row in the Super Bowl era, I feel a 4-peat does way more than start the conversation—it possibly ends it.

Mahomes would have 5 rings to 7, pretty close and what some pundits already say he needs before they start considering him. He would have a fucking 4-peat, not seen since the Russell Celtics in a major non-hockey sport, clearly the higher individual peak, be career leader in a ton of the QB postseason stats. It’s like a Jordan/LeBron thing but if their careers happened in the reverse order.

I am much less of a football guy than a basketball guy so let me know if I’m tripping but isn’t it insane to suggest that the convo starts when Mahomes 4-peats?
