Are there any benefits to these recent Canva updates?

Heard a lot about the controversial changes to Canva over the past few months. Glow up etc.

I haven't used Canva much this year. One thing I noticed is that it's harder to find the custom size project button on mobile now.

Has there been any positive changes made to Canva in 2024? The overwhelming negative feedback from the community suggests that the answer is no. Personally it's super annoying when your workflow gets interrupted by drastic changes.

But surely they would have reverted it by now if it was all bad? Is Canva prioritising its casual users now? Or do you think the drama was overblown?

Feel free to share your honest opinion. I know that the internet pressures people to conform, but I think hearing both sides would help us understand why Canva made these changes.
