I feel so bad for babies and kids

I (20F) saw a homeless couple with a small girl and a crying baby on the train today. The baby was so small and cute, and I got so sad. That baby will suffer in poverty out of its own free will.

Babies and kids have to grow up in a society that despises them. With inflation, the current dating scene, no fault divorce on the rise of discussion, wars, homelessness increasing, hate crimes, even our own leaders and politicians, it only makes sense for me to be childfree by choice. To bring life into this world is absolutely selfish.
