THIS IS URGENT; I need help texting from my chromebook

is there any possible way to send or receive texts on a Chromebook? I need to text someone but I lost my iphone and don't have a phone I could use, all I have is a Google pixelbook. is there ANY possible way to text someone from it, whether that be from a random number online, or from some software, or just idk. also I have the number of the person I need to text, so that wouldn't be an issue. also I cannot call, it needs to be a text.

Edit: thank you everybody, I was able to find the carrier of the person I needed to text and then send an email to their phone number so it would be a notification and I told them to check their email and then I shared a Google doc, it worked great!
