“The class picks you”

I’m a firm believer that for most people, their favourite class is somehow baked into them. Some people know what they like and nail it on launch, some go through alts until one class “clicks”

For all the reasons to play a class, be it their meta strength or flavour - for most people they will inevitably end up on the class that scratches the itch.
