HP ENVY x360 has no option for wifi

Please help lol, my laptop won’t find wifi. I don’t have a wifi adapter installed on my laptop, don’t know how it got deleted and my network controller is also having issues. I don’t have access to the internet on my laptop to install them and I can’t connect my phones hotspot or my router to my laptop to get any type of connection. I’m pretty short on cash so I can’t really shell anything out to get actual help. Is there anything else I can do that would be helpful or is my laptop just trash at this point? Thank you!
