Quality of Minis

Hey folks. Got myself Combat Zone for Christmas. I’ve read the rules and the game system seems extremely cool and clever. But man…the minis. I’m by no means an expert hobbyist, but the quality of the minis seems really bad. Tons of flash that’s hard to clean off completely, slippage that makes things like weapons hard to identify, “smudged” features that look like they’ve been smooshed, bent pieces, holes along seam lines, etc. I’ve read from others that MFC is pretty good at sending replacements, but I guess I’m just wondering if this is the quality I can generally expect from this line, because if so I don’t know if I’ll bother.
