Do you feel you're missing out playing 1 gender?

I'm going into my second playthrough and wanted to try Fem V but the voice actor just doesn't click with me. I'm not saying it's a bad performance, I actually think she does a very good performance, it just doesn't click with me. Whereas Male V in my first playthrough really clicked with me and I really felt connected, especially in the emotional moments
