How weird would it be to have a character without any functional chrome?

I should probabaly start this by saying I haven't played red before and my reasoning might be entirely incorrect.

But I'm making a medtech and I'm just not seeing a reason to put any cybernetics into her. You have chrome that's good to have all the time but is the same cost if not more than buying a regular version or chrome that has very niche uses and still costly. And you still have to buy the foundational cyberware.

If I go without cybernetics I don't have to worry about emps, I save eddies, and I can dump empathy while worrying less about cyberpsychosis. All I lose is concealibilty and not always having it around, but for the former I can just put points into the conceal skill and for the latter I just take my bag where ever I go.

Why would I pay 100-500eb to put things into me when I can get a carryall for 20eb?
