Drowning in 120k debt
In short I bought a piece of rental property back in June 2022. I had a contractor that screwed me out of 45k. I had to have another contractor come in to redo everything the first contractor did and that cost another 20k along with a new HVAC 28k and foundation work 20k. I’m having to dish out $2k a month and it beginning to be unbearable. I’ve been keeping up on payments but I’m now down to the last of my reserves don’t know what to do. I’ve put the house on the market twice. The best offer I got was 40k. Should I just take the 40k and figure out how to deal with the rest ?
