Ideas to control meds?
I (29m) am the only person who takes care of my grandmother (78), she's undiagnosed but rapidly getting worse. She lives alone currently but I live close and see her everyday. I leave early each morning to stop by her house and give her the correct meds for the day while I check on her. I use to set out her meds for her in a weekly organizer but she stared losing track of the day or the time and there were too many instances where she would take her meds too often. I tried leaving a calendar near the pill organizer but it often was forgotten about or overlooked or she would simply think she was days ahead of the actual date. It's not very convenient to always get her medicine to her on time like I currently do, and she's against the idea of having a nurse or anything over to help her. I'll keep doing it if I need to but just wanted to see if anyone had ideas on other things to control medication or what others do without a nurse around.
