Health insurance is a scam

I've been a t1 for 18 years and have struggled a lot 30 (m). For the majority of my life with diabetes my a1c rarely dropped below a 9. Last year I was put on a pump and cgm and all was right with world for a little bit my a1c dropped to a 7 in the first three months and hasn't gone above a 6 since the first six months of being on the pump. Recently had to switch insurances because of work and now nothing is covered and I am forced to stop using the pump and cgm. 90 days of supplies costing well over $3000. I just dont understand how this is even a conversation that needs to be had. I'm unbelievably frustrated and exhausted.
