Norethindrone - Break Through Periods and Pausing Medication and Resulting Complications
I wasn't sure what to call this post, as I'm sure you can tell!
I had surgery for endometriosis in 2021 and am on norethindrone to mitigate any ongoing symptoms or recurrence of endo. I only have my period in the form of a "break-through" period once a year and during that time, I pause the medication to allow my body to flush the period all out.
I'm posting because I'm experiencing moderate-to-severe nausea and loss of appetite during the break from norethindrone. I can barely eat and have thrown up a few times during my break-through period. Can anyone explain/recommend anything?
I've tried weed to increase/stimulate my appetite to no avail. I'm literally having to force food down with water. I'm very skinny already, and not being able to eat more than a meal a day is really upsetting and bad for my health (obviously!).
Plz help.
