Bambino Plus updated?

Had a fault in five months old Bambino Plus today. A tube fitting came out of the hose in the steam wand, which stopped getting pressure.

Anyway, back to shop and instant replacement. It seems like there's been some update to the model. Same model number but steam wand has red plastic around finger hole. All black on the previous one.

I don't know if my first one was a poor example but it made more noise, light mugs would vibrate on the tray and a small amount of water would leak from the back left of the tray. All these issues are gone now.
