New Policy Destroys Family Relationships
The new policies about transgender individuals make trans teens unwelcome, treated as dangerous, and destroys relationships between the teen and their parents. LDS parents of trans teens now must pick them up from any overnight camps, they must force their child to use the wrong restroom OR chaperone them to the correct bathroom and check to be sure nobody is in there first and then stand guard while their child pees. Treating these teens as if the are more dangerous than sex offenders is absolutely despicable from a church but to align parents as abusers too is a torture itself. The new policy makes it even impossible for a young men's leader to tell the group to call so and so by X. They have to stand by and let a poor kid get dead named by anyone in the ward. These policies are so deranged and will cause lasting damage. I hardcore judge parents who force their trans loved ones to participate but this is going to make it even more torturous for these kids.
