My mom saw my tattoo

I got a tattoo in a very hidden place after I left Islam it says freedom in Amazigh , my mom saw the tattoo yesterday she didn’t react cuz my dad was there, but today I hugged her and said thank you for covering on me I thought you would never do that, she was about to leave to work, she did hug me back but she told me don’t you think I’m not mad tho. Idk what to do because she is the only one I have in my life . Any advice or help on how to handle the situation
