OPM’s offer won’t even backfire because it’s that bad — at least on its face
All of this just shows how important it is to have people on the ground helping making decisions, not just your billionaire appointees. These people don’t even realize what “hoteling” is or that many of our managers aren’t even in the same city. Anyway:
I’d expect each agency to clarify how this will look for them — workload, buyout, etc.
Best case scenario is agencies can make it a buyout and you get paid to stop work immediately and no longer be considered an employee after Sept.
Worst case scenario is our government is dumber than we expect and they just showed their hand that RTO won’t be easy to implement due to bargaining agreements, space, etc.
