Update thanks to YOUR suggestions!

Hi everyone!! I am so incredibly grateful to each and every one of you.

I posted a month ago about endlessly tangled and matted hair and I’m back to share what’s worked for me.

As a reminder, I have both fine and thin hair. I was constantly having to cut out mats from the nape of my neck and was at a point where I felt I couldn’t wear my hair down anymore.

THIS is what worked!

1) BRUSH BEFORE SHOWERING. This has made such an incredible difference. My hair still tangles when wet, but not nearly as bad.

2) HAPPY CAPPY MEDICATED SHAMPOO. I’ve discovered that extremely oily scalp with dandruff and dry ends could mean malassezia. Happy cappy is a medicated shampoo that kills this particular bacteria causing scalp irritation. It’s gentle enough for children and my hair is so dang soft! I double wash with this and the second wash lathers so well.

3) JOHN FRIEDA FRIZZ EASE. I can’t for the life of me find the angel that recommended this but it has made a world of a difference. I rub a nickel sized amount in my hands then run it through dry brushed hair. It helps so much with the winter static and the dryness that causes my tangles. If you recommended this please make yourself known so I can thank you properly!

4) SLEEPING IN A LOOSE BRAID. Brushing my hair in the morning is so much quicker and easier now!

Thank you all for your recommendations, this is the type of stuff you can’t find when you google. Real advice from fine haired queens is priceless.
