Is T the one who “owes him a favor?”

A favor for what?

Where does Imogen come in? Was there a plan in the works to get married and then wipe her memory? Was the memory wipe unexpected? Why wipe the memory at all?

And why didn’t they marry before the battle as a contingency plan if she promised to anyway?
