I think the history repeats itself and the six most powerful riders are walking the continent like the first six, with each dragon of each den and as a representative of a god.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the number 6 is ubiquitous in the empyrean world. It's the first six riders, six different dragon breeds and colour ( I'll leave out the seventh dragon breed because they separated decades ago), six gods, ..

So let's dive a bit into numerology.

The number six is the symbolic representation of the human spirit. The spirit is the sixth sensory organ with six skills:

-reason -emotion -to think -awareness -knowledge -intelligence

But as a counter there are also six impurities ( like magic needs balance)

-lust -wrath -greed -proud -deception -envy

We know that magic needs balance and because of that the most powerful signets have an mean equal venin- twin ( like Theophanie + Lilith Sorrengail and Xaden + Lynx { I know I don't want it to be true either but Xaddy is the bad boy right now:( } ).

I think the world saving squad has already manifested

and I do not think it's only depending on how strong each Signet is rather it depends on what dragon breed is fueling the signet, like the first six each bonded with one breed of dragon. So my Theory is these riders are the new six that will cause the end of the Venin:

Black Dragon Lightning wielder ( Violet)

Blue dragon Precognition ( Aaric

Brown dragon Distance wielder ( Garrick)

Orange dragon Earth manipulation ( Imogen)

Red dragon Siphoning ( Sloane)

Green dragon Object summoning ( Rhiannon)

Why do I think these are the squad and why is there no Brennan, Xaden, Mira, Dain, Bodhi you ask? Glad you asked!

Brennan is too sus to be in the squad, we don't know if he's Venin ( his dragon is orange, his breath smells rotten and his name means literally dead) and technically he was already dead.. I don't know if the magic system in the empyrean series holds grudges but every other magic system would be holding grudges because he is literally a dead person walking.

Xaden is Venin, there is literally a counterpart to his signet. Not the good guy right now.

Mira, Dain and Bodhi. I know they have really powerful signets but I don't think these signets were the first signets after which all other signets developed.

RY said in some interviews that the gods will play a part in the next book(s?). We know that Violet has a deeper connection with Dunne and it's no coincidence that there are six gods. So let's play some puzzles, which representative do you think matches with one god? My guess is, Aaric will represent Hedeon the god of wisdom because of his precog. Rhi will represent Amari the queen of the gods because Violet once said that she resembles the goddess so much. So who will represent Malek (god of death), Zihnal (god of luck), Loial (goddess of love)?
