How do you use NONGs with an APK of gd!?

Yes ive tried geode- doesnt work with an apk, says i need the latest version despite me having 2.2.13. i also cant seem to find any modded apks that work except for one that i had to uninstall cause it had some weird nsfw-ish textures

Ive tried apkeditor pro but the file wont install because "the package seems to be invalid" or something. same thing happens with zarchiver, so the problem is probably just that you cant manually replace them (i replaced toe2 with an mp3 of my song, i got the mp3 using y2mate which everyone else is saying works)

if anyone knows a solution to this please help!!!

EDIT FEB 1ST 2025: so i actually wasnt on the latest version of 2.2 but rob named the updates weirdly so i thoguht i was
