Adopted this sweet boy who has been neglected (advice)
I adopted this sweet baby today and was wondering if anyone has tips to help him gain weight. Right now he weighs 1lb 14oz (850.48g). He was neglected and abandoned. At the shelter he was bullied by his cage mates so he has several injuries as well.
Eventually we want to introduce him to our 2 sows (he is neutered) but not until he’s fully healed and gains some weight and confidence.
What should I do to help him gain weight? I trimmed his hair and the trimmed his nails at the shelter so that will definitely help! We have him isolated away from our sows in our room until he’s healed up and we get him checked over by a vet. I also would like him to gain more weight before we attempt to bond them.
