How do I overcome the fear of handling my hamster?

I’ve had my syrian hamster female for almost six months now, and it has been great!

She is such a sweetheart, she was super comfortable with me from the start and is in general really trusting.

I’m the opposite. I am super nervous of holding her in my hand, and I haven’t done in a really long time. I am really scared that she’ll bite and that I’ll hurt her accidentally, even though she never really gave any signs of that. My boyfriend started to handle her for the past few weeks, and he’s been incredible at it. My hamster seems to enjoy it a lot and never wants to go back in the cage afterwards. I’ve been really jealous and I tried to start small with handling her, but I’m just so scared of hurting her if she bites me. Did any of you have a similar experience and have any advice to overcome this fear?
