What do you do when your ham has passed?

My boy Alexander passed away last night, and I'm wondering what to do with his body. It feels cruel to just place him in the trash, but I'm not sure if they would take him at a crematorium or another place that does pet cremation? I've only ever had to handle cats' bodies and always did solo cremation for them, but I don't feel the need to have ashes returned or anything. Does anyone have recommendations?

I should add, burying him is not an option where I live.
