Help me choose pastel bag!

Hi everyone! I want a cute pastel bag for spring but I’m torn between these two. The first one is the Gucci gg emblem small tote and the second one is balenciaga’s le city bag in small. I don’t carry too much really just the essentials and my emotional support kindle. I’m also in my late 30s if that helps. Thanks! :)
