Is anyone else annoyed by “army brats”, “fauji kids”?

I know this could be very controversial. I have immense respect for army people and their families but I am constantly annoyed by army kids using this tag everywhere and as an identity. I understand it is something to be proud of but casually putting it in a totally unrelated conversation is so annoying. Similar to the ones who base their identity and behaviour on their zodiacs and go “I’m a sagittarius so that is why I am like this”. Maybe this is a stupid analogy but get my point? I was a civilian kid in an army school and this is where this rant is coming from.
