New to knitting, help!
Hello! I’m fairly new to knitting and I’m currently facing a frustration I don’t know how to solve. My experience thus far has been 2 bad scarves entirely with the knit stitch. In the last 36 hours, I’ve learned how to purl. I’m currently just practicing purl and knit stitching right now. However, my purl stitch is significantly more consistent and nicer looking than my knit. My knit stitch is all over the place. I can’t understand if maybe purling is just easier to maintain constant tension throughout and knitting isn’t? Attached is a photo where you can see the sections where it looks like decent knitting and where it looks real bad. How do I fix my knit stitch? Thank you!
