A character that you never expected from an actor, which they excelled?

Arjun as Karthikeyan in Rhythm is something I never thought Ill see Arjun do. His performance as the journalists living a mundane life with aging parents was so genuine that he made us all feel that his "Action King" moniker is just a gimmick. He was so at home playing a nobody, a common man, a widower finding love and hope again.
