What's the point of small companies debuting a group if they're just going to disband them anyway?"

In 2024 alone, groups like TFN and Mirae disbanded due to insufficient promotion from their companies. A few hours ago, an official statement from a company confirmed that Luminous has already disbanded. Why do small companies do this so often? Is it some sort of investment or just a trial-and-error situation?
