Mini Medieval Army

Hello everyone, curious to know if anyone can give me some advice on building a small, and I mean small, medieval army, im thinking around 10 total figs, Im wondering whats a good variety of rankings I should look into getting, as in foot soldiers, generals, lieutenants and so forth. Im not super educated in rankings but thought it would be fun to add to my collection. Thanks!!
