Great lesbian icons to paint?

I have started a study, I have obviously already made an homage to sappho, but any other lesbian icons? I'm stuck between joan baker(activist who died of AIDS in 1993), gia carangi(model, was closeted and died of AIDS 1986), and Corky(protagonist of bound 1996).your thoughts?
