My ColdPlay Experience and Tips. Detailed Post.

I attended the Coldplay Mumbai concert on 18th.

My experience in brief and recommendations/tips-

Travel.

Mumbai locals are super easy to navigate and the best way to reach. Autos from right outside both Juinagar and Nerul station are available easily. Reach your respective gates. Box Office collection is near Gate 6. I travelled by train. Reached my gate at around 1:30.

What to wear.

Anything you're comfortable with. Saw people in shorts and some were deckep up like it's a bachelor party. Pro Tip - Wear things with pockets like cargo pants or something.

When to Reach

Seats were half empty till 6. ColdPlay starts at 7:45 and honestly everything before them was horrid. Jasleen Royal was mediocre. Good to get warmed up before ColdPlay but still skippable.. Elyanna was good but never having heard any of her songs, I wasn't able to enjoy. It is skippable. I would recommend reaching by 6:30-7.

Standing. Damn. I reached at 1:30 and was second in my queue. The gates opened at 3:30. So 2 hours outside. But in a group, we could get snacks and water and used any public loo outside( I used one at the nearest petrol pump). On entering, we could get really close to the barricades and sat on the ground. Mistake. We should have gone right to the barricades as people have no sense of personal space and people walked over us and crowded the area like anything. It was hot and sunny and people were still squeezing so close as if they wanted to lick Chris Martin's balls. Even though the whole ground was empty.

My recommendation - I was some 15 feet from the barricades. Being 6 ft tall, I had a great view. I'm sure so did everyone who stood even 50m away. After phase 2, that is around 8:40, there was a small break, we gave up with hunger and dehydration as once you get to your place and go behind for water, you won't be able to get back. So we were there since 4. Went back, had water, had a pizza while still vibing. The whole stadium was vibing and you had some room in the back to still move and dance freely. You can get that even if you reach by 5.

Attend a few songs up.close, move to the back for free air as our experience got better as we started feeling better.

Entry

Very well managed..Smooth. Pro Tip - There is no frisking. People had sneaked in cigs and vapes even. I would recommend, sneaking in a small bottle of water and if not that then definitely some chocolates and protein bars. Once enteres from the main gate. Rush inside and pass through security check in. Use the loo and go to your standing post.

Food and Beverages.

Have enough water. If you think you are even slightly claustrophobic, stay at the back. Bands should be charged and activated as early as possible..There are many options but honestly, if you're a fan and love the songs, you'll just notbwant to miss anything standing in the queue. We had water, grabbed a pizza quickly and got back to it. You won't need alcohol, the vibe us energetic enough.

Exit.

Don't be in a rush to leave to beat traffic or something. Don't miss the outro and the fireworks. Click some pictures post the concert if you wish. Be mentally prepared to walk to the station (almost 3km). It was exhausting as we were already tired by standing. But autos are not allowed and cabs got super expensive. Trains again were convenient as we.saw a lot of traffic throughout.

Misc and TLDR

No network because of jammers. Don't stray away from your friends group. No thorough frisking. Sneak in some chocolates or small snacks. No use reaching too early. Reach by 5 for standing and 6:30 for seated. The whole stadium was vibing so don't worry too much about your seats.

Have great fun guys!
