Unpopular opinion: The Hairy Maclary book series are propaganda by Big Dog.

Over the last couple of years, I’ve read a lot of different Hairy Maclary stories and there seems to be a similar theme. Hairy Maclary and his dog friends are all portrayed in a positive light whereas the cats are portrayed as sneaky, sly and scary to name a few traits.

While my kid loves them, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to look past this blatant propaganda.
