Figo Appeal Issues

My dog had bloodwork done at the request of me because he had a recent weight loss and I was worried that something underlying could be wrong. Because the bloodwork was already done, we also scheduled a dental cleaning because there was a sale happening at that time. Figo has denied my claim twice despite the vet also submitting a written statement and paperwork supporting the claim, because they claim it’s preventative care and they don’t cover dental anyway.

I’m beyond frustrated because the amount wouldn’t even cover the deductible, so it’s not like they’d be paying out anything and this is literally what insurance is for. We even purchased the wellness exam upgrade. Is this worth the continued fight? Can anyone recommend a better insurance? I’m not interested in keeping with Figo after this. We chose them because their rates were good and were Costco members, but this experience has absolutely soured any hope we held for them.
