Can’t play game without it crashing after 5 minutes [PS5]

Has anyone else struggled with this?

My friend and I play alone on the Island, he owns it.

As stated in the title, he literally cannot play for more than five minutes without it crashing. We initially thought it was a mod problem, but it continued to happen without any mods installed. We’ve tried a handful of things we saw from other Reddit threads, but nothing worked.

We did the console command ark.VertexCountScaling 1 and disabled menu transitions. Not sure what else works, we’re both relatively new to Ascended, but not Ark as a whole. We’re more than aware of how buggy this game can be, lol

EDIT: It’s also important to mention that this doesn’t happen on any other maps. It’s only our save on the island.
