Ps4 reader making noise and won't take the disk

I have this PS4 that is given by my unc, it's old and broken and he decided to make the PS4 my problem haha, after a few months of nothing, I decided to check if it is actually working. Surprisingly it actually works, but the reader or the thing where you put the DVD on the PS4 will make a noise if inserting, then halfway through inserting it, it's all suddenly hard to put through. The PS4 then will read nothing lol, then will pop up unrecognizable disk. The disk is still poking out of the PS4. I tried forcefully doing it through but it'll make a noise like it's a damn Gatling gun. Then tries to read nothing again
