What’s the general perception from Action Bronson in the States and outside of the white fan base?

For context, I’m Italian and I can say for sure that here he’s a niche rapper, not a lot of people know him and among those, just a few listen to him regularly. Personally I grew to some of his stuff and he became one of my favourites. This morning while driving I was listening to “Only For Dolphins” and I asked myself whether he was appreciated or not in the US or if he was closer to the European tastes, so I’d like y’all’s two cents.
