[SPOILER] "Lose your wanted level" but not wanted?

I'm on the mission with Uncle (Home of the Gentry) and according to Youtube walkthroughs, I should be heading back to Beecher's Hope with Uncle but for me, all it says is "lose your wanted level" even though I'm not wanted. I've paid off all bounties, closed out app, etc. Has anyone experienced this?
