I'm going to give my children whimsical fun names because I believe it's a huge subconscious advantage in life

I used to work with a guy named Scooter, and I'd see peoples' eyes light up when they merely heard his name. He was just another pmc drone, but everyone had a subconscious positive association with him because his name is Scooter. I don't even think it was his real name. I thought about this a lot.

I noticed this happens in sports, too, which is supposed to be the ultimate meritocracy. But guys with fun names get drafted earlier, ink bigger contacts, become fan favorites, and are more likely to have better sponsorship deals.

Imagine what a huge advantage it must be for everyone you meet to automatically be in your corner by default. My kids will have names like Scooter, Huck, Bear, Cricket, Birdie, etc. If I get twins, they will be Radius and Ulna.
