speculation thread: lisa barlow’s lawsuits

Thank youuu to all the lawyers in this subreddit who have made posts explaining the 2 lawsuits from start to finish. Obsessed & read/upvoted every single one

Im curious what everyone else makes of it all in context…the SEC filings, then the lawsuits and then their dismissals, etc. I’m not sure if publicly speculating on this makes me a shitty person or not, but I’m a closet bravo fanatic & have no one else, so I’m willing to indulge.

Here are my personal thoughts, and I’d love to hear others if you are willing to speculate:

Before I really read up on explanations, all I knew of Lisa Barlow was what was shown on RHOSLC - I only got into the show within the last month or two and binged it all to where I’m now caught up (lol). With my understanding of her extremely lavish lifestyle - not even through observation - but through what she verbally says, I was shocked to see about her net revenue on Vida. From how it was depicted on the show, I believed Vida to be a big income source for her. To see it was a money pit was concerning. It is the only business she really discusses and promotes in the series, so I’m still leaving room for reality to be that it’s a “side hobby” and they have other large sums of money. Otherwise her lifestyle and the legal documents literally aren’t compatible. So while I leave room for alternate explanations of ordinary financial ebbs and flows, I cannot help but wonder…do we have another Jen shah storyline unfolding?
