Natural ears prone to yeast infections and other itching issues. WDYD?

Do you know if they are triggered by something specific and if so, what?

Our mini w/natural ears (all of our other minis had cropped ears and we never ever had this issue) got groomed on 1/31. She seemed fine until the middle of last week and her eyes started seeming a little watery. Friday-ish she started itching her ears and her eyes also seem puffy around the outside. I have an ear cleaning solution which i've been using (it has aloe in it and helps soothe, it seems to help some) and I have an antifungal gel that the vet gave me for her ears in the past which I started using today. She is eating fine, playing fine, pottying fine, sleeping fine (except to wake up to scratch). She does not have hotspots, she's not losing hair, she doesn't lick her paws. I have asked the vet about it in the past and he told us it's prob due to allergies and didn't seem concerned about it.

The groomer comes to our house and uses their own custom shampoo concoction which helps brighten white, so I wondered it could possibly be that, or her ears weren't dry all the way inside after she was bathed?? We are switching groomers in a few weeks so maybe we will notice a difference then, that's yet to be determined.

Or, maybe she has an allergy to something she's eating (seems most likely)? She eats a tablespoon or two of pumpkin puree and Ollie Turkey & Blueberries fresh. I switched to Lamb last week to use up the last few packs I had, that seems to be when the watery eyes started. She eats one probiotic chew and one allergy chew daily (all grain free and meat free). She doesn't eat any people food unless it's fresh fruit. I have removed grains from her treats at home but she spent the day w/my mom last Thursday and the treats that I left there by accident had wheat as the first ingredient.

It's winter where we are right now, cold and has been snowing off and on for about 3 weeks so I don't think it's anything environmental.

Trying to crowdsource ideas here. Any thoughts or experiences are appreciated!!
