Are there any sofa beds comfortable enough to sleep on daily?

I have a very awkwardly shaped apartment, with a bedroom that's only 7 feet wide and a door in every corner. I've had a full sized mattress pushed sideways against the wall, but it takes up the entire room, and it also covers access to the basement so I have to lift up the bed in order to get down there which is a pain. I've contemplated getting a sleeper sofa instead and using the bedroom as an office, but I'm wondering if I would regret it because it would be hugely uncomfortable. I've looked into a couple of different sofe bedroom options (tradition sofa beds from joybird and west elm, newer sofa bed designs from companies like koala, daybeds from ikea that expand into a king sized bed) but I' very uncertain whether any of these options would be comfortable enough for daily use. Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations on this?
